The program requires you to do a lot of work and learn quickly. Some students do not complete the program due to work ethic, however, if they did complete the program, then they would be successful. I could go on, and usually do. But this works, will you?
What a great question! I came through a culture of blame, blamestorming, identification of the guilty, and I discovered in that environment, I would only be successful in delivering what I was paid for, deliver on that metric, don’t think, just act, do what you are told.
So we have done the thinking here, we will get you thinking and then act!
We have tapped into what we know already and what others have been saying for years. We are not reinventing the wheel, we have just built a wheel with all the spokes available. If you have ever tried to take the buckle out of a bicycle wheel, you will know you that you need them all adjusted just right, or the wheel is all over the place.
So it does not work if you do not do what you are told!
It does not work if there is not high level buy in. What are the three things you can be fired for? If implementing this is not one of them, you will probably fail!
It will not work if you do not have a product that fits the market. There may be a gap in the market, but is there a market in the gap? We help you assess that. What is the market? Who is the ideal customer? What are you going to sell them? Could you make recurring revenue out of that? What is the message?
We noticed over the last two years in particular, that start-ups often lack the cash to do anything and they are being pulled in a million different directions and have trouble setting priorities with all the distractions. They are striving for perfection and very frustrated at a lack of progress. Or their optimism has not been tempered by reality! So if you are a self-funded start-up, money is tight, vision is blurred, you may be doing a day job somewhere else, well, it may not work for you! But, if you were willing to make a certain level of investment, take the time, focus, study it, try out elements of it that suit your budget and what you are doing, your situation will improve and at some stage you will have the eureka moment and give us a call and we can get to work with you.
Have you ever tried to cut a hole in a sheet of cloth with a sledge hammer? We often go to market with several sledge hammers, when actually, it needs a sharp point, a sharp edge. Focus on the sharp edge of the product market fit.
If you are likely to fail, we do not want your money, that is why we have an ideal customer and why we will help you identify yours. Otherwise you are trying to teach a pig to sing, and that just makes an awful noise and upsets the pig!
